La BBC publie le classement des meilleurs films du XXIe siècle

Les cinéphiles vont se délecter devant ce classement. La BBC vient, en effet, de publier la liste des meilleurs films du 21e siècle. Les œuvres cinématographiques de ces 16 dernières années ont été classées selon l’avis de 177 critiques cinéma de 36 pays…

“Mulholland Drive”, de David Lynch (2001) arrive à la tête de ce prestigieux classement. “In The Mood For Love”, de Wong Kar-Wai (2000), et “There Will Be Blood”, de Paul Thomas Anderson (2007), complètent le podium de cette liste qui devrait ravir les amateurs du 7e art.

Cette compilation de films est le fruit d’un processus plutôt bien rôdé et parmi les 177 critiques qui ont répondu à la BBC, 122 sont des hommes et 55 sont des femmes. Notons que Wes Anderson, les frères Coen, Paul Thomas Anderson, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Christopher Nolan et Michael Haneke y placent chacun trois films.

Dans le lot, 57 films sont en anglais, 13 en français, 4 en espagnol, 3 en mandarin et 2 en russe. Les années 2012 et 2013 sont les plus représentées, avec 9 films chacune.
